New Marine Species

There appears to be new Marine Species found on the Coastal Reef of Australia about 100 new species were found today. Ningaloo Reef, Lezard and Heron Island is where they found there new discovery of the Marine animals.There Major Finds included Potentinally new Polychaets which are "bristle worms" Relative of a Earth Worm and Leech.Dozen of small Crustacean species and an unusual amphipod of the Maxillipiidae.


As many as two-thirds of these new marines species were found at lizard Island alone were to believe to be new to science.Researchers about 300 soft coral in the reef only by establishing a baseline of dioversity and following later cenuses can people know the impact of those threats.
