The recent headline I read was about congress changing Alcatraz into a peace center instead of the prison it is now where all the inmates go when they done something wrong.Alcatraz has had a history like no other alot of people went through those doors such as Al Capone George"Machine Gun"Kelly and Birdman of Alcatraz were big people in the old days in there were peoples"Big Crime Lords"in that prison.
It's been closed for about 60 years now from what I read,they need about 18,000 votes I think from them to make it into some peace center and change the island of Alcatraz.I think they should close the prison down but make it into a national monument to do things with make a history of how the prison was started that type of thing.
